I've added 5 new dolls to Mizerae dollz and new categories as well for that page. I still won't be online constantly since I have a life, odd though it is, offline, but I'll be re-vamping my webpage in awhile. I went ahead and put a temporary template for this blog simply because I don't have time to put a great one on, but the broken images were bugging me. So, it's not awesome, but it's at least an improvement.

Added some dolls to my doll site. I was not intending to do this, but when Maria went through the wedding photos while we were chatting and captioned this two photos, I just couldn't let it pass. Whenever it's updated, I'll note it here like any other part of my site. I still can't read the one of Jonathan and Mom without cracking up because he would say that with a completely straight face if it applied and my mother would think exactly that in response. It's hilarious. Someone asked why I don't really use this as a journal now. It's because I have a personal journal I don't make public. Only a few know how to get to it. If you're specifically wanting to read my journal, I won't be offended if you ask for the link. Just remember that like all blogs and journals, you're not forced to read it and therefore have no business flaming me about it. I don't submit my diary for review by anyone. I simply share my day and thoughts and plans and whatever awards I earned and dolls I made or whatever I'm into at the moment. So anyway, that's why I don't put more here than what I've done to the site recently.

Added photo album link to Gallery. My interview with the manager of Stride Rite went well and I'll start working there in July, which is perfect. I'm also starting up another business and will have more details on that, later. I'm trying to figure out a name for it, first. I had a fun body care class today and it helped me forget how rotten I feel. I'm pretty sure I got it from Marla, but this horrible racking cough mixed with my allergies has me looking bloodshot and mangled. This morning I was complimented on my smile for nearly an hour and it was great, but I was also stunned because while I was happy and smiling, I also felt awful. Apparently it didn't show. *shrug* I don't pretend to understand it. I have some more work to do and then I'm gone this weekend to the State Ladies Auxiliary. Picked a new front page graphic set cuz, well...I was bored just thinking of putting the former one back up. It looked nice, but it was a hassle that was worth it if it had stayed up. This one, the new one, I really like because it's certainly appealing to me, but I won't be overly set back, time-wise, if envy.nu gets another deletion kick going. The photo on the front page of my site is of Nicholas Wein and me at my youngest brother's wedding. I caught the bouquet and, yes, I jumped for it. It's a very pretty one that was handmade by Marla's mother. No way was I letting that one go. So it's joined my collection. The tiara was worn by Amber through the ceremony and I played with it later. I'm wearing my black jacket because the reception was cold. I'm trying to find a photo taken of me in my dress earlier with the silver wrap instead, but just about everyone got flash-happy only after I'd given in and jacketed. Ah well, at least I was comfortable. When Tommi attempted, for the second time, to slingshot the garter, it kinda plopped on the floor and Nicholas dived for it. I posed with him and made a big deal of it. He was happy :)
Working on biography next.

As for yesterday, well...it was absolutely awful and good all at once. Any day with Jonathan is good especially when he's emotionally involved, and not just me kinda pouring my emotion all over him. It was awful trying not to fall apart on him and knowing Betty, his mother, was the same. The poem I wrote "I Hate This" was how I kept from leaping out of my skin and just going hysterical which isn't normal for me. So, realizing that I was losing it, I grabbed my notebook and poured my emotion into that poem instead. It centered me a bit and I helped him finish packing. We went on a last minute shopping trip to get stuff like extra shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, etc...and after leaving Wal-Mart, we stopped at Pizza Hutt for their lunch buffet. The food was good, though the service was lacking a bit. He and I talked with these awkard pauses happening that have never happened before. Usually I'm the one freaking, but this time I wasn't alone. He's missing me and I don't think he expected it to be as strong as it was. Anyways, he actually got done packing an hour early and said he shouldn't have turned off his computer because he now had an hour to kill. I just stared at him for a minute and then I went and grabbed Betty. For an hour, the three of us talked, whether giving each other riddles (one that no one knows the answer to), or her clipping his toenails while he reclined on me. He tolerated the moments when no one said anything far better than usual. See, it's not that he doesn't undestand, it's that he's impatient. Today, he was amazingly patient with us, going out of his way to make it easier for us. I really appreciate that. Betty was great and after he left and Joseph hadn't arrived to pick me up, she put on some coffee and I poured me some tea while we tried to figure out what to do with ourselves now that he was gone. We talked about her gardening, where she wanted to put some flowers, and talked about what the property had looked like when she and Danny (Jonathan's step-dad) had first bought it. After around 20 minutes, Joseph arrived and I left. I can't call him because he'll be sleeping in the truck instead of hotels or anything. So, he's got a phone card and I'm hoping some collect calls start happening. I miss him.

First, all the work I said I did from April 5th to the 10th really did happen. Envy.nu and Tripod both decided to do some freaky time-erase thing. Literally everything I deleted was un-deleted and everything I'd created (extra webpages, layout changes, etc...) were deleted so it was as if I hadn't done the things I knew I had. I thought I was losing it when I looked at my site and saw not only all the old stuff on it, but the content I'd put up....the gallery of photos, etc...gone. Maybe I'd dreamed it...except that A) I have this blog to prove I'd done it and I have Mags, Maria, and Mir to all vouch for different stages that no longer exist because I'd bugged them repeatedly to look and make sure it was working on their computer, too. So, I put the two poems I wrote Tuesday up on the Mental Pen, but I'll wait and see whether they get deleted before doing re-uploading previous content.

Saturday, April 20th was amazing. I switched out my old white metal bunk bed for a wonderful queen size bed. Got it in excellent condition for $25. :) That's not what was so amazing about Saturday, though. Jonathan, my baby brother Tommi, and his wife, Marla, went with me to the Renaissance Festival. It was Marla and my first time. We got our car into the long line waiting to get into the free parking, which I thought was cool, and then we walked all the way to the entrance. I was pretty slow going in because I wasn't sure how much strength I'd need to walk around inside, so no adrenaline kick just yet. Between Tommi and Jonathan, we got lost inside. It was funny. The map was glanced at, but not really followed at first...so we got lost. Ah well...
Marla didn't feel good, between the heat, the upward hike, and not being consulted on what show we were gonna go see. I was actually enjoying myself. I loved the fairies and peasants, the obvious care with which the costumes were created. There were realistic Renaissance people and then, of course, you had the fantasy side. Dragons, witches, fairies, etc...and it all blended together seemlessly. I was drawn to the unique way each person reacted to the atmosphere. You had those who were a bit snobby about the whole thing, those who were so in character it was hard not to laugh or applaud their acting, depending on how well they portrayed themselves, and then ones who were just having fun. They might be in character, but it was tongue-in-cheek and they'd drop it in a heartbeat to make a joke or talk. We watched a funny magic show in which Marla was executed. It was great. The Magician, after Tommi accused her, demanded to know her crime. Tommi said Marla'd been stealing lemons from the fridge every night. The Magician turned to call it out to the audience, "She's been accused of stealing lemons from the fridge...what?" He turned back, looked at Tommi like he was insane, and then called out, "which apparently is a crime worthy of death!" So then Marla was on stage with a sword through her neck and I took pictures. I hope they come out. We walked together some and then we split into couples, planning to meet at the Sherwood stage around 4:30PM for the show I wanted. Jonathan and I ate a chicken on a stick and wandered through different shops on our meandering way to the stage. It was fun...I love every minute with him. We still managed to be an hour early to the stage, and actually bumped into Tommi and Marla. So, after resting a short (and I do mean short) bit, he and I walked around the stores near this stage and I found a crystal charm that was so cute, but was precisely $14. By then we only had $11 and we were planning to eat on the way home, so it was out of the question for me to get anything, anyway, but I memorized it and am looking for it online to get for my charm bracelet. We still got back to the stage 30 minutes early, but this time we just sat down and waited. Tommi and Marla arrived and we still waited. The show was The Washing Well Wenches. It was certainly unique and I loved it. Jonathan thought it was horrible. Funny, but horrible. That's because it was chaotic. Two women and I know they had a loose script, but they improv'd like crazy. After the show, we looked at the wedding area and it just wasn't my taste at all. It wasn't ugly, but I don't want that type. So, we went store-hopping and stopped to watch different craftsmen work. The glass-shaping and firing was cool. Around 5:50PM, we left. It was funny because I was wired and so Jonathan was able to walk as fast as he's comfortable walking...and still stay right beside me. Tommi and Marla were slow cuz Marla was feeling sick. We ate at McDonald's and it was less than impressive. Horrible service at the front and the bathrooms were disgusting. Over all, though, it was a wonderful day and I'm so glad we went.

went Bravenet crazy. all the toys work, but I haven't finished customizing them with images.

Forgot to put a link to the new page. It's a stick and the only time I really learned to drive one was while I was in Australia...so you can see why he wants to be with me for the first few times I drive *grin*...sometimes the other side of the road can be fun.

Maria, my friend, has some new items on her business site MariaStuff.

Time to go work in my room, getting packed to move. I have my guestbook set up. Now just to get my other pages going. *grin* I'm changing guestbooks because my old one is connected to by a bunch of my unfinished pages and so I keep getting really umm...less than wonderful messages in it because they aren't finished, I can't update them or anything. Quite a few of my former sites (from fan-fiction and graphics to original stories and dedications) can still be found, but I have no way of updating them or transferring them or anything. So, I decided to drop everything I've been doing and start over. The only items I'm carrying over from before are my personal stories and poems. Some of my poems have been slated for publishing and those I won't post on here, but I will mention publishing information here and there. :)
